Migrate from Wordpress to Shopify Plus

 
 

  • After years of patches and fixes, The Packaging People were stuck with a website that they were unable to update or maintain. They reached out to us to help with rebranding, redesigning, and reengineering a new website on Shopify Plus. One of the challenges we faced was around their unique pricing structure, as well as custom printing options.

  • We needed to ensure that the new website did not end up with overly complicated solutions that can be maintained in-house with minimal Shopify experience. Leveraging Shopify 2.0 and metafields we were able to create a site that is rich with content, but extremely easy to update and maintain.

Our primary goal through the entire project was simplicity. The website needed to be easy to maintain, easy to update, and lightning fast. The first step was to architect the product structure to minimize the number of templates while maximizing the unique content.

 
 
 

Transparent Pricing

Quantity Discounts and Dynamic Pricing Tables

We built a custom pricing table that updates as the variant changes. Discounts are managed in the backend through metafields and are dynamically calculated.

 
 
 

Built for Speed

Fast can still be beautiful

We chose to use the Impact theme as the base, and reserve customizations for features that the customers could not live without. By prioritizing essential features, we preserved as much of the native functionality as possible, which allows the store to have one of the highest speed scores across all of our clients
